IVSA Indonesia

IVSA Indonesia (IMAKAHI)

 

IVSA Indonesia or locally known as IMAKAHI (Ikatan Mahasiswa Kedokteran Hewan Indonesia) is the only Veterinary students organization in Indonesia. It was established on March 21st 1983 in Pandaan, East Java. This organization is based on Pancasila which is Indonesia Ideology and had the principle of academic freedom in the form of a responsible, scientific truth, solidarity, openness, partnership and populist.

 

IVSA Indonesia sub-chapters consists of 10 universities in Indonesia which are: Bogor Agricultural University, Gadjah Mada University, Airlangga University, Udayana University, Syiah Kuala University, Brawijaya University, Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya, University of West Nusa Tenggara, Universitas Nusa Cendana, and Hasanuddin University.

 

So far, IVSA Indonesia has held plenty of International events which are; Group Exchange January 2013 with South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan and Malaysia; IVSA Indonesia – IVSA Japan Group Exchange September 2013; Group Exchange January 2015 with Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, Tunisia and Hungary; and also we have held the 63rd IVSA Congress in 2014. We also have had many individual exchanges, either incoming and outcoming individual exchanges.
